Holiday Topiary Quilt Block - 7" x 10"

$3.50

This listing is for one .pdf (electronic) pattern.

Get ready for the holidays and whip up a few of these cute, potted topiary trees.

This is an original quilt block designed by Barbara Cain. It measures 7'' x 10'' when finished. It can be either paper pieced or traditionally pieced.

If you plan to piece traditionally, cut out each pattern piece. Cut out each corresponding fabric piece, adding a 1/4" seam allowance to each side. Sew the fabric pieces together in numerical order to create alpha sections, i.e., start with piece A1, then attach A2, A3, etc. to form a complete A section. Do the same with the B pieces, C pieces, etc. When each section is complete, sew A onto B onto C and so on.

If you are a paper piecer, you know what to do!

If you are new to paper piecing and want to give it a try, you can download a free paper piecing tutorial and practice pattern from my blog. Just paste this path into your browser and you'll arrive at the blog post and Dropbox link for downloading:
